We came into town late and this was the only place still open to eat. They were closing soon but insisted on us ordering so we got a couple of pizzas that hit the spot. The real shine came the next morning, we had breakfast sandwiches and freshly made doughnuts. Delicious!

We got some burgers and I tried the Malibu (which is a chicken sandwich with ham and swiss) and we had shakes too. It was all super good, their shakes are AMAZING! It's a cute little restaurant and the workers were nice.

Best ice cream I've had in years. We stopped when passing through visiting the nearby national parks. We stopped again on our return trip. They use high quality, whole ingredients for the ice cream. We saw the employee dump a jug of milk or cream into the ice cream machine. Their pizza was also delicious. Highly recommend and we'll be stopping a third time the next time we're in the area.

Absolutely great! Love places like this.. Good prices, great food, can't go wrong. We had a delicious pizza one night, and 2 milkshakes the next, the later were so filling, they were" dinner". Real good, the best place in town.

We stopped in before going to our hotel for the night. It was a long day and I was very tired, so my perception might have been a little off. With that said we walked in and found that this restaurant had a burger, fries, shakes menu and it also has a pizza menu. The way the restaurant is layed out we thought that you had to order burgers on the right side and the pizza on the left. After ordering my son's burger on the one side we went over to the other to order a pizza for everyone else when we were told that you order from the same side. The pizza that we ordered was good, but maybe a little over cooked. The cheese browned up and the marinara was very hard to detect on the pizza. The crust tasted like it was a homemade crust recipe and tasted great. The toppings also have amazing flavors and tasted fresh. Just wish there would have been more toppings on the pizza. My son said that he loved his burger and his fries. Claims that it was one of the best Burgers that he has had. The restaurant has a very small dining area , but it appeared to be very clean. Overall a nice ma/pa restaurant to grab some food. Worth getting off I70 and traveling the extra couple of miles into town to visit.

The Chow Hound is an old-fashioned greasy spoon situated in the heart of Green River, Utah. Home of the melon festival in Utah. Green River is not a big city, and the Chow Hound is one of the hubs of food there. With that being said, it's a great experience when it comes to a greasy spoon diner. The burgers are nice and plump and full of flavor. They offer fries, curly fries, and onion rings, all fried to perfection. They even offer to add cheese to the fries, which is a definite must. They even offer Shakes, thick and sweet. Currently, they are offering Girl Scout cookie Shakes. So get em while they last. Overall, The Chow Hound offers a great respite for an empty belly. Sure to satisfy.

Blown away by the quality of the pizza! The bread, sauce, cheese, and toppings all tasted fresh and well balanced. Very friendly staff, got me some hot sauce when requested which was a nice bonus. Great stop!

Good simple drive in food. I had quarter pound burger and fries. Sweetie had fish sandwich and curly fries. Fries are perfect skinny fries. (I *love* fries) Wish I was hungry enough for one of their home made baked goods. The cherry and apple turnovers look amazing. Didn't bother with a shake as they don't use strawberries in their strawberry shake.
